Halfpenny Bridge
South Pennine members were out in force in September to help with the repainting of the bridge while Wood Lane was closed for re-surfacing. The driving force behind getting this done was Peter Davies. CRT provided the paint and some cleaning materials, SPBC and members provided other materials and the bulk of the man-power. We were joined by members of the local community, Calder Navigation Society, Mirfield Roundtable and Mirfield in Bloom. Thank you to everyone who took part. The result is dazzling as you approach the club now, either by road or by river.
