River levels at Battyeford and Ledgard

Due to missing boards at the Battyeford weir, combined with low rainfall, water levels at SPBC are extremely low and several boats, both on the linear moorings and in the basin, are stuck on the bottom. members are encouraged to write to CRT if they are experiencing problems!

Conversely, due the weir being built high at Ledgard, the river levels going into Mirfield are higher than normal. This may mean the the Flood Gates at Ledgard are shut and the the inner gates may need to be used to operate this section as a flood lock. Please take care when getting on and off the boat from the river as access to the lock gates is not ideal!!
