Committee meetings held every second Tuesday in the month except August up to and including 14-3-17. Thereafter, the committee meetings will be on the Sunday of the work party at 2pm. First Sunday meeting: 2pm on 2nd April 2017 where standing orders will be agreed for the rest of the committee-year.
What Knot Free'n'Easy
Free-n-Easy night with Jacob's joiner supper. Bring your own drinks.
Come along and practice some simple, quick-release, secure knots you can use whilst out boating. Also try your hand at splicing - make your own mooring-ring line - or try your hand at fender-making! ....
.....or just sit and chat, play darts or whatever you fancy.
There will be a Regatta meeting at 10.30 am to discuss the Club Open Day. Please come along and help us in the planning.
Valentine's Ladies Night
Food - lovingly prepared and served by our SPBC 'menfolk'.
Entertainment from Bill Adair (of Burns Night fame)
No bar so please bring your own drinks... although there might be a little reception glass of sparkly stuff (TBC).
Dress code: smart-casual, but feel free to dress up.
There will probably be a raffle to (TBC)

Charity Pig Race night
The little pink piggies are raring and ready to race to raise funds for our current charity: Marie Curie Cancer Care. Please come along and place your bets - squealing for your piggy to win is optional.
Please arrive 7.30 for the first race at 8pm. (Bar from 7pm.)
There will be a supper available: pork sandwich or 'save the pigs' veggie alternative.

An Irish themed evening with a bar and supper. Tickets available from Sally from Feb 4th: £5. Dress code - anything green :)
There will be irish music throughout the evening - bring along your favourite CDs from Val Doonicam to Sinead O'Connor. We are also hoping to have some Hot-Spots provided by our very own SPBC Talent-Pool. If you can ..... lead us in an Irish jig or ceilidh dance -or reagle us with an irish song or tune - or recite some irish prose/poetry or an Irish limerick ....please let us know or just come along on the night and surprise us.
Annual General Meeting in the clubhouse at 2pm. NB Nominations and motions must be received by the secretary no later than noon on 19th Feb.

Darts knockout finals
Please play your matches up to and including the quarter finals before Easter. The semi-final and the final match will then be played on 29th April ('May' work party Saturday - brought forward due to the Regatta!)
