Work Weekend

Starts: 10am

A work party usually takes place on the first full weekend of the month. Occasionally these are moved e.g for New Year, Easter.

Please come along and lend a hand as we can only keep fees low by everyone participating and hepling out with chores. A jobs list is sent by email to all SPBC recipients a few days before the event.

Work usually starts about 10am. Tea and coffee is provided FOC and on Saturday, a lunch is often provided at a nominal charge.

There is nearly always a social get-together on the Saturday evening of the work party. This may be an organised event or a Free'n'Easy night where folk just gather for a drink and a natter.

We hope you can join us at the next work party weekend.

The SPBC Christmas Party

Saturday 19 December 2015
Starts: 7pm!

At his years SPBC Chrismas Party there will be live music (the Hayley Sisters, who played at the Rally), a bar and a buffet. Tickets will be priced at  £10 pp and are available to members now. If you would like to bring guests, tickets will be available from November 8th for non-members.

The bar will be open from 6pm, selling real ale, wines and soft drinks all at a good price.

Numbers are limited so 'book early'! :)

Join us at SPBC to see in the New Year with a good ' ole traditional pub night. This will be a Free'n'Easy night with games available for those that want to have a dabble at darts or doms etc. 

There will be a bar with real ales, wine and soft drinks. Bring food to share in a Jacob's Joiner supper. All welcome!

New Year's Day - the recovery programme

A relaxed day with a walk or a cruise if the weather is nice and plenty of coffee to compensate for the night before.

Lunch will be leftovers from the pub night so nobody needs to start the New Year by slaving away in the kitchen! :)
