Work party weekends
Regular club working weekend is normally on the first full weekend of the month (Saturday & Sunday) but the following exceptions apply....
The January work weekend will be held on 10/11th January.
The April work party will move forward to 11/12th April to miss Easter and the May working party will move back to 25/26th April for Rally prep.
Refreshments are provided and a light lunch is usually available at low cost.
Saturday evening is usually a Free'n'Easy night (Take-away order and BYO drinks) unless there is a published social event taking place.
Committee meetings are open to all members.
They are usually held in the clubhouse at 7.30pm on the second Tuesday of each month except August where there is no meeting scheduled.
A spectacular firework display is being organised by Graham Sykes and his team. A sumptuous pie and pea supper is being organised by Avril Davies and her team. Come along and enjoy the fun from 6.30 p.m. on Saturday 1st November. There will be a bar that night selling real ale, wines and soft drinks.

Take-away to be ordered. BYO drinks. DIY musical entertainment.
The SPBC Christmas Party
Deluxe Cold Buffet (similar to last year). BYO drinks.
'Home grown' caberet entertinment from our very own members.
Tickets on sale from 1st November priced at £16.50/hd from Sally or Denise. Numbers will be limited so 'book early'!
New Year's Eve Club Casino
New Year's Eve at SPBC will be the usual shinanikins but with a Casino Twist this year. There is no bar so bring your own liquer and some food to share Jacob's Joiner style - only the gambling 'chips' will be provided. Dress to impress if you like - or come as you are. Everyone welcome
New Year's Day Lunch
Cruise or walk to the Pear Tree for New Year's Day lunch. Details to be posted shortly.

Usual mayhem, but this year in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. Details to follow.
CNS are holding this social event at SPBC - all welcome. Details to follow.
A wine-tasting evening organised by Roger Daker and friends. Details to follow. Tickets likely to be £6-£7/hd.
Annual General Meeting in the Clubhouse. Members only. Please send you apologies to the secretary if you cannot attend.
We are planning an Easter cruise and/or a ceilidh for the Easter weekend. Details TBC
Rally - yeeee-haaaaa!
The SPBC rally will held on the May-day bank holiday weekend. The open day will be on Saturday 2nd May, but the fun will start on the Friday night. This year we are having a Country and Western Theme so dig out your gingham and your cowboy hat.
